So I am having the best luck lately with designers 1L items. I remember it used to be if something was 1L it was like only wearable about 1% of the time. Now it seems everyone has at least one great thing that I would pay normal price for out for only 1L. I dunno when this started but I sure do love this trend!

The skirt I have on is from a 1L Purple Haze set by Blooberry, the details on the top of this skirt are completely adorable. I only wish she made it in more colors (meaning pink). The top I have on is from Mischief and it has these wonderful flowy prim sleeves. I love how it wraps around and it is just pretty and feminine. My undershirt is one of the new halters from Sioxie Legend and really it doesn’t do it justice to have the back covered up , but she made it in like a zillion patterns/colors so I’m sure I’ll find another excuse to wear one.

My shoes are the urban bohemian ankle wrap flats from Boing Fromage and these come in a zillion and one colors and are perfect to wear with flowy skirts. My necklace is called the mixtape necklace from Yummy and it says that it is pink but i notice that its more gold faintly pink tinted, either way I love it. The earrings I have on are called Jewella from Canimal, she doesn’t do a lot of jewelry but I usually like everything she puts out so I wish she would make more. My bracelets are actually sold together at Caroline Apollo's and are part of the Relay for Life campaign. I think this might be my favorite charity in second life because they always manage to make all the items PINK and it’s also a good cause and stuff.

My hair is from Celestial Studios called Delish and I like that the band and the flower can be changed to any of the Lulu colors. The makeup I’m wearing is from the Deviant Nation line of Vogue makeups called Hotpants and it might have one of my favorite names. I’m not sure why it amuses me so much maybe because it is 12:30 at nite and I should be sleeping. Either way its gorgeous.

Today I started with the Spring Blossoms Jacket from Barerose in Cian color. It comes with a few colors and like all items from Barerose it is ridiculously cheap. I just adore this top it has the cutest flower decal and bow in the front. Under this I put my Silk Dragon undershirt and underpants from Nymphetamine, I love this set because it comes on the undershirt/pants layers and can be worn under tons of stuff. The pattern is also great and detailed without being too busy. My pants are from the Camerine set from Pixel dolls and they are a deep blue color with some cute green buttons. The whole set is really cute but especially these pants.  

The shoes I’m wearing are from Kitty’s Rampage and called Aperture Flats and come in loads of colors. They are so adorable I find myself wearing them a lot. My gorgeous necklace and earrings are from the Louvelle set in Starry/Black from Earthtones and Lucas is killing me with all the new items they are all so beautiful! On my right wrist I am wearing one of the bangles from the Aurora Bloom set also from Earthtones.  On my left arm I am wearing a great watch called Muse-Classic Tank from Muse. Muse is a designer that is being featured in Earthtones shop and this is actually a piece that Lucas sent to me the other day. I can see why he loves these so much they are incredibly detailed and the little hands even move. I’m not sure if it keeps accurate time but really when something looks this great who cares.

Madeline has to be one of my all time favorite ETD hairs and I’m wearing it in Dirty Blonde (like always) here. My makeup today is the Vogue (Jade-Mid) and I love the smokey eyes and lightly tinted lips.

Today I started with the Contrast Jodhpurs from the Hunt Club: Jumper Outfit from Last Call. I’m loving these pants and that there are pants and underpants versions available in the set. I’m wearing the underpants version. The tush on these pants looks awesome. I love a pair of pants that perk up the booty. I’m wearing the top from the Aire Dress in Navy from PixelDolls. I love the fabric and the wings on the back are too cute! Oh, and poofy sleeves, gotta love poofy sleeves! I’m wearing the Tintable Demi Cami also from PixelDolls. I’m wearing it on the undershirt and pants layers, so the cami goes over the jodhpurs (which are on the underpants layer). I love layer options.

I’m wearing the Old Laceup Boots in Brown from Shiny Things. I’m not sure if I said this before, but the prim work on these astounds me. I’m wearing the Leather Plate Wristband in Khaki from ETD. I love all the detail. Even the inside of the wristband is detailed! My necklace is the Tarnished Feathers Necklace from Neptune’s Kiss. I love all the little feathers, so cute! It makes me think of cute lil birdies.

So yesterday I saw an ad in the Fashion Con group for this dress from Stellar Designs, it comes in a few color choices. I absolutely love the suspenders and the buttons up the front. But what really topped it off was the cute little plaid skirt. Once I snatched that up I put on my white pretty perfect top from Gracie's. It has a great collar detail and you can’t see them very well but little peach flowers embroidered along the top. Under this I am wearing my lulu boybeater in brown just to add a little contrast.

Finally I put on my sand tights from Blaze, if you haven’t gotten these you should definitely check them out they come in lots of colors and are all super shiny and seamless. They were also ridiculously cheap for the whole big set. I chose sand because I liked how it matched the top. My shoes are the retrohoochie pumps in cocoa from Shiny Things but I don’t think they are in the least bit hoochie. Ok maybe a tiny little bit, but in the good way.

The jewelry set I have on is all from the everyday gems set in sunstone by Shiny Things, I have had this set for a while now and I think it is one of the most complete and universal sets I own. I have the earrings, necklace and both bracelets (of course!). I also really like the color of the stone because they tend to match most things I put them with. They come in lots of other colors though so I’m sure you can find one that will suit your wardrobe.

My hair is from Hairapy and it’s called Drew I get a lot of compliments on this hair and I think it’s just a good style for my face. Isn’t that funny even on your avie some stuff looks great and others look great on other people but not so hot on you? My makeup today is Vogue (Coral-Mid) and this lipstick is great it’s kind of the same color as the sunstone jewelry so I find myself wearing it often.

Things have been kinda crazy lately, so sorry for the delay in posting. I started with the White Dress Slacks from First Impressions. These are the high waist pants, but there is also a low rise option available. I love that there are options! These pants have the prim leg attachments which I love so much and they have cuffs. There’s a ton of other colors available, too. I’m wearing the Sheer Tunic from the Philanderer Outfit from Last Call. I know I wore it recently, but I love it that much. I did tint it a tan color this time (it’s mod). Under it, I’m wearing the Tube Top from the Grazia Tube Sundress in Brown from Casa del Shai. I love the edge detail on it.

My shoes are the Lierre Ankle Wrap Shoes in Indifference from Paper Couture. My necklace is the Mother Earth Disc Necklace from I <3 Juicy. I love the greens in it and the delicacy of it. I looked for I <3 Juicy for the longest time, but was unable to find it. I think I was there last week sometime, but I don’t know what happened to it since then. It was right next to Miwako Cheney’s store [miw] in Kava Kapu Island on Chrysanthemum Island. [miw] is no longer there either, but she does have other locations listed in her profile. If anyone does know where Lilly Castillo’s store is now, please let me know as I love all the stuff she’s put out so far. My bangles are the Choco-Bloo Bangles from turnstyle. I love the subtle colors in the bangles.

I know.. I have been a very bad blogger. I just think I needed a little break away from my computer this weekend. But good news for you I did manage to find this super cute outfit lurking in my inventory. 

I started with the top from the Sun Spot Baby outfit from Simone! that I picked up at their big sale. The top has a nice wrap front and great shading. Over this I have the Heart Vest from Nylon Outfitters and to be perfectly honest I have no idea when I bought this but I’m really glad it resurfaced in my inventory because its adorable. My skirt is from the Cindy set from Last Call’s Girl Next Door line. All of the things in this line are cute, fun and casual bordering on dressy. I really like the look of the squarish pleats in the skirt.

For shoes I am wearing my Red Satin Ballet Flats from Allure by Sparkle Skye. She has them in tons of colors individually and in color packs and they all have a wonderful shiny texture and she includes wide and regular size leg ties. I am always so happy when they include a wide option because my legs never fit into the regular sizes.

Somehow my jewelry all came out to be tasty food items. My necklace and left hand bracelet are from the Yummy set by Miam Miam! There are all sorts of yummy snacks such as ice creams and cakes to nibble on if you get really hungry. (Ok possibly you would break a tooth if you nibbled on them but they look almost good enough to eat. ) On my right hand is the Cheap Plastic Bangle in Cherry from Funk-O-Rama, but really even if the price was incredibly low the set it in no way looks cheap. Finally my earrings are the Chinese take out box earrings from Turnstyle.

My hair is one from Kin Keiko called Jade and it is actually the first one I’ve bought from her, I really like the how it looks kind of lumpy like a real ponytail does. My skin is Vogue (Red-Smoky) in Champagne.

Ok, I think I definitely am a moody dresser, and my mood and thus my outfits can be greatly influenced by music and the fact that I’ve fallen for a piece of clothing. So, this is a peppy outfit influenced by my listening to “Love Today” by Mika over and over again. It’s stuck in my head - I can’t help it. So, there’s my inspiration. But, I do love this skirt and this was also my inspiration. It’s the Skirt from the Zuzu Outfit in Red/Plum from bossa nova. There are two skirt lengths and a shirt in the set. This skirt is the longer length skirt. I love the color – it’s so rich, and the fit is amazing (after making room for the booty). I’m wearing the Lila Halter in Bohemian from Sand Shack Surf Co. This is such an incredibly cute top. I love the color combo and all the details (the wrinkling, the colorful scalloped neckline, the wrinkles, the bead detail on the back of the neck). Too cute! I’m wearing the Empire Babydoll Shirt from the Linen Empire Dress from Laundry to cover the belly a bit more (the halter ends after the teal stripe).

My shoes are the Summer Slingbacks in Brown from ETD. I think I still have the straps set to khaki (they’re color change). The bangles are the Aurora Bloom Stack from the Aurora Bloom Bangles Set from EARTHTONES Boutique. I love the color combos on these, too.

My hair is Mia in Smoke from ETD. The scarf is color change, and I have it set to teal (or the dark teal, can’t remember). My skin is the Deviant Nation line of Vogue Skin in Cashmere (Ether – Void) from Last Call. Yup, definitely my favorite skin.

The other day my friend Paisley said “Hey I found a 1L dress at Bossa Nova, can you make me an outfit out of it?” I didn’t mind one bit because the dress is so cute and I think the pattern on the bust is great. My top is from the Mariana dress copacabana edition and yes it is 1L at Bossa Nova, a few weeks ago she did a swimsuit in the same pattern for the same low price. Also on the top there is a cute little prim bow on the back that hangs down. 

Over this I’m wearing the Tuscany shrug from Mischief, this comes along with a black tank top for only 95L and it has beautiful lace detailing. My skirt is actually from the black dotted lace mini dress by Sweet Dreams, its super short so I added tights but I think the lacey bottom on it is so fun. I also added my trusty belt from the Tie Dress from Oh What a Neat Boutique…, I cannot tell you how much I adore this belt on the skirt layer.

I also recently found a “new to me” hair shop called Calla, I have no idea how I’ve missed it until now but she has lots of styles and colors. I really like her shiny blonde and this style called Lilly is my favorite one so far.  My necklace is called Lucky Charm necklace from Miam Miam, its very delicate and has lots of adorable charms. I really like the stuff she has done so far and I’m looking forward to seeing more.

Of course I have more Earthtones bangles, these ones are zebra print and just as shiny and perfect as all the others.  I even managed to find some black and white shoes in my inventory, these are the Vivica shoes from Last Call and I’m really glad I got them in this color combo.  My earrings are from Paper Couture and are called paillette earrings, they come in a set with 7 color choices and I love how huge and bold they are.  My skin is the Deviant Nation Vogue (Fishnet) skin.

Ok so last nite I was telling a friend how to “rebake” her textures and I noticed in the Client box that there was an option called “Clothing” so I clicked this and that magical little box that you see above popped up! That box lists all your items of clothing and what layers they are on, so then you can either sort by name or TYPE!!

Now this is incredibly good news for me because it has always been very hard to make outfits using all the layers because I had no way to search by them. I’m not sure how long this has existed and if it has been for all 2 1/2 years and you all knew and didn’t tell me then I will cry. I just wanted to share my discovery with you in case I wasn’t the only one that didn’t know this option existed.

If you don’t see “Client” at the top of your screen just hit Ctrl + Alt + d and it should appear. Also just fyi opening this window does lag me for about 5 minutes because of the amount of clothing in my inventory . But that is a small price to pay for such a wonderful tool. Today I started with the recently released Skinny Jeans in Dark Wash from indie. I really love the continuation of the pants on the sock layer. The texturing on these jeans is also amazing. The pockets are really cute, too! Plus, there are a ton of other washes available in the set, and the set is very affordable. I’m wearing the Tan Blazer from [miw]. I love the texture on this jacket – the buttons, the shading, and the subtle stripes. Under it, I’m wearing the top from the elka Dress in Green from Canimal. I love the neckline on this top. And it’s green, and I love most anything green.

I’m wearing the Sequin Slip-ons in Gold from Barnes Boutique which are women’s shoes (hee). Comfy and sparkly, could you ask for more? I did look for these, but was no longer able to find them. My necklace is the Momento Locket from Yummy! Accessories. You can put a picture in the locket (so cute!).

My hair is Airy in Smoke from ETD. It’s like the perfect messy ponytail. Well, messy, but in the right places. My skin is the Vogue Skin in Cashmere (Noir – Mid) from Celestial Studios.

My first piece today was the North Star sweater shrug from Sassafras, I just adore this blue. Under this I put the Necktie shirt in apricot from Sioxie Legend, this comes on all 3 layers like most of her tops and has wonderful shadowing and shading. My Jeans are from the collaborative set Melrose from Last Call and Celestial Studios. It comes with a great painted on scarf belt and prim bottoms to make the pants into bell bottoms. They come flowered or unflowered, you know I had to choose flowered.

My shoes are the Retrosweet shoes in white from Shiny Things and they have the cutest little bows on them. I have on an old belly button ring from Ariel’s, but her shop has been closed for quite some time. The necklace I’m wearing was a freebie from the Celestial Stuidos group called Juiced, I really love the new trend of giving out freebie jewelry in groups. Also a group freebie is my Lillyanne Bangle from Cailyns it comes in all sorts of metals and stones and she gave out a free one for her Birthday. My earrings are the Silver Double Diamond Earrings from Double Dragon. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another pair of hoops this big in sl and they are so perfect to wear with pulled back hair.  On my left hand I’m wearing the beaded bangle in red (looks more pinky to me though) from Junk.

For this outfit, I started with the Buttermilk Crochet Stitch Top from Little Rebel. I feel like a doily (in a good way). I really like the ribbon detailing. I’m wearing the Tintable Demi Cami from PixelDolls under it. Yeah, I wear it a lot, but it’s my go-to cami and there’s really nothing else like it from what I’ve found. I’m wearing the pants from the Barracuda Outfit from Last Call. I like the subtle details (the pockets are fabulous) and the prim leg attachments. I’m wearing the gloves from the Ceme Fairy Costume from Celestial Studios. The costume was from Halloween 2006. I love how it extends past the wrist and has the ring thing (I don’t know what it’s called, but you can see it in the detail picture, lol).

My shoes are the Nonni Shoes in Midnight from Last Call. Last Call has really been cranking out some good shoes. I love the little rivets, they’re so cute! My necklace is the Cameo Necklace from !BF! I just love cameos, and this one is awesome.

The other day I was at Pixeldolls to check out the new items and I picked up well I won’t lie…probably 6 things. But then a few days later I was back in the store verifying something for an outfit and I found a whole other section that I missed the first time. Neph has released I dunno about 20 new things in many patterns in the last few weeks so I decided to make an outfit using some of them. I love all the new patterns and colors she used, there is so much variety I’m sure she’ll have something you like.

I started with the comfort skirt in grey, it is semi sheer and flexi so it feels flowy,sexy and feminine all at the same time. Over this I put the comfort jacket in rose and this is of course shaded beautifully like every thing she makes and I love the side slits and the low back. You could get by just wearing the top if you wanted to go ultra low cut, but I had to add the top from the new cherry silk halter dress. Underneath everything I put the tintable tucked halter and tinted it a darker shade of rose. All of these items come in multiple colors and/or patterns, except the tintable halter but its tintable and on all 3 layers so I love it.

The tights I’m wearing are actually freebies from Paper Couture, I think they are still available in the Barcola store at least until it closes (if it’s closing I’m not sure if they are phasing out the old collection or not). My shoes are the Tango shoes from 1–800 Betties and they have wonderful detailing, like the super shiny texture and the brown soles. I have on 2 bracelets (of course!) the one on the left is the pearly bow bracelet from Junk and on the right is the calia bangle in opal from Cailyn’s. My necklace is the rings and things white shine necklace from Digital Dragon Designs and I really like how the texture of the stones makes it stand out so much. The earrings I’m wearing were part of a free set from the Last Call group called Baroness Bit set, I did check around the shop and I couldn’t see them for sale but if you are a member of this group you should have them. Have I ever mentioned that I love freebies? Especially high quality freebies like this.

My hair is one from Rita Groshomme of Empyrean Emporium called Hera in wheat blonde, I really wish Rita made more hair because I really like her shiny textures. My makeup is the Vogue(Rose - Mid) in Champagne.

So, here’s my belated St. Patrick’s Day outfit. Yeah, I didn’t go all out green here. But, I am a moody dresser, and this is what I gravitated towards. I started with the Olive Skirt from the recently released Whimsy Outfit from First Impressions. A high waisted skirt! Happy me! The fit of the skirt is perfection. It’s not a flexi skirt, but I really think it looks better this way (and I really mean that cause I love a good swoosh). There are other colors of the skirt available in this outfit (brown and rust), so this was a good buy for me. I’m wearing the Basic Collared Shirt in White from bossa nova. There are black and white shirt options in this set, and it comes in all three layers. Now that I think of it, this is a variation of the white shirt. I think it’s “White 2”. Or maybe I tinted it. (I think it’s mod. Argh, my inventory’s a mess right now so who knows.) So, moving on…..I read an interview on Linden Lifestyles of elka Lehane of !BF!, and she wore a belt higher up on the waist. So, I stole that fabulous idea.  I’m wearing the Simple Snakeskin Belt in Brown from Shiny Things.

My shoes are the Vintage Pumps in Chocolate from Shiny Things. My necklace is the Solaria Necklace in Multi/Gold from EARTHTONES Boutique. I forgot to show a detail picture of the clasp on this necklace earlier, but I remember to take one of it this time. I’m wearing the Diamond Bee Ring from Paper Couture. This was part of the jewelry that people were oohing and aahing at the fashion show, but it never rezzed for me while I was there so I did my own oohing and aahing when I bought it.

So I think I have found one of my most favorite belt ideas ever. If someone else has done this with an outfit then I have never noticed, but in the new Tie Dress from OH! WHAT A NEAT... BOUTIQUE she has a belt on the skirt layer. I love love love this idea. You know by now my dilemma with finding belts and yes it does stick out a tad bit from your body, but there is no modifying and its a a perfect height to wear with prim skirts or even pants. The skirt that comes in this set isn’t too shabby either, it has a good shape and the stripes are great. 

With this I am wearing my freebie Disco Blitz (Black/Blue) top from Relika, yes thats right I said FREE. I say go take advantage of her generosity before she realizes that this top is gorgeous and she could be selling it for much more. Under this I have on the top from the Lalita set by Naughty Designs, this is one of her older designs and is now located at the Discount store so it’s also a good bargain. I liked how this took the place of a necklace with just a little of the pretty pattern sticking out.  

For my earrings I chose the Rainbow Chain Hoops from Kittys Rampage, these have wonderful small rings and I like the bright colors. Also since I’m posting this late no way was I getting caught with no green this close to St Patricks Day! The bracelet on my right arm is from the Cailyn's Discount wall and comes in a very nice set. On my left hand is a bunch of bangles that are nearly as old as my avatar and I checked but it looks like the creator Cricket Sunchaser no longer has a shop.

My hair is an older one from ETD called Innocent, and I just did a quick look around the shop and it looks like it’s not been released with the new textures. My makeup is from the Deviant Nation line of Vogue skins called Ether-Void and you already know how much Jenn and I adore this makeup since one of us wears it every other day or so.  I hope you enjoyed all my bargain finds, the funny thing is I didn’t even set out to make a semi bargain outfit, but all of these are so great they have just become part of my regular wardrobe.

So, it’s been a bit warmer lately, and it felt like the perfect opportunity to wear the Babydoll Swim Top in Orange from Fashionably Dead. I like this top because of the color, it’s not too boobish, and it’s perfect for layering being that it is on the undershirt layer. I’m wearing the Sheer Tunic from the Philanderer Outfit from Last Call. The texture on this top is insane (I mean that in a very good way). It really looks like a gauzy top, and the sheerness of it is perfect. It’s sheer, but not too sheer. I’m wearing the Lulu Faded Cuffed Capris from Celestial Studios. I love the texture on these jeans, and the pockets are so cute, too!

So Starley has been a busy girl, she has released 2 great outfits this week. Lucky for us the tops for them can be mixed and matched. They both have a great retro feel with the patterns and colors. The first top I have on is from the Viva set in Orangesicle, this is a great top with a very cute bubble/dot pattern on the stomach. Over this I have the sweater from the Uptown outfit. My pants are from the Kasuri flowers set by Barerose and I’ll be honest I only bought the set for the tops and kind of felt the pants would be impossible to match until now.  

My shoes are the Abby shoes from Vertically Challenged, these are color change so I turned them a nice brown color.  I have a few pieces from Shiny Things, first the necklace Tuesday (Tan) and the Nico (Pink) bracelet. These are both from her hand painted beaded line and have really beautiful detailing. On my left hand I’m wearing the Emo bracelet from Kalico Kreations, now most of his things are made for guys but can be shrank. This couldn’t be made any smaller but I think it still works because the stones are meant to be chunky. You can’t see my earrings very well but they are the Boho Chic earrings from Elka and I have had these earrings for so long and they are quite a staple in my wardrobe.

My hair is called Kelly (Honey Brown) from Hairapy, this is a small hair shop but the stuff she has is really cute. My skin is of course a Vogue skin this time my makeup is Peach-Smoky, I’m having a little trouble with the lighting in sl lately but the lips aren’t really that washed out. They are a lovely peachy pinky color.

I started off this outfit with the Polkadheart Swing Jacket from !BF! I really love all the details in this jacket especially the cut and the fit of the jacket along with the prim collar and shoulder poofs. I went with the Mini Sleeves with the Add-on t-shirt bottom option; there are three different sleeve length options available in the set. Instead of wearing the included tintable tee, I opted for the Tintable Demi Cami from PixelDolls because I wanted to keep the neckline open. I’m wearing the Trusty Jeans from LF Fashions again, but this time in a gray wash. I love the cuffs, and they feel like trouser jeans which I’m a big fan of in real life.

My shoes are the Eva Pumps in Coal from Lassitude & Ennui. I love the height of the heel on these shoes- it’s a good mid-height heel. I’m still in my arm warmer kick. I’m wearing the Armlets in Grey from Canimal. I can’t believe that I didn’t buy these earlier. The earrings are the Chinese Lantern Earrings in Yellow from Paper Couture. These were part of the ton of amazing recently released jewelry. Other colors are available, too.

My hair is the Pullback III in Smoky from ETD. I so wish I could get my hair to do this in real life. My skin is the Deviant Nation line of Vogue skins in Cashmere (Drama Queen – Backstab). I have actually changed my eyes, well…I was forced to change my eyes thanks to SL. My other eyes (the Mirror Blue/Brown Eyes from Celestial Studios) were “broken” (which I have been told happens occasionally for a few days or so). They were blacked out. So instead of a creepy eyeless look, I’m wearing the Deep Gray Eyes from Celestial Studios.

It’s been awhile since my last pink post so I came up with a very bright one for you. I started with the Rompa dress from Cashmere. I am wearing the top, jacket (which is a belt and continuation of the skirt) but not the skirt prims. Instead I put on my rouched back white linen skirt from Little Rebel. I really like that even though this is not a prim skirt it manages to be tight fitting and I love the detail on the back. That little bit of black and white you see peeking out of the top is actually an undershirt from an old old Lash outfit, because Lash has left second life it is not longer sold.

My shoes are the Dare pumps in hot pink from Shiny Things and anytime I can fit these into an outfit I do, I absolutely love the little rivets on the heel. I have on 2 sets of bangles. On the left hand are the beads and bangles (pink) from Wrong and on the right are a set just called “bangleses” by Alla Ruff for the life of me I can’t remember where I got them and Alla doesn’t have a link to a shop in her profile. If anyone knows of her shop I would love to get a landmark. I love the bright colors and patterns on these. My necklace and earrings are from the Glass Squares set from Shiny Things and I think she has these available in a couple different colors. The hair I have on is called Angel V from Naughty. My makeup is Fuchsia-Smoky from the Vogue line and I only wish I had the guts to wear lipstick this color in real life.

I am attempting to use Slurls again so let me know if they aren’t working for you, last time I tried I couldn’t get them to work.
