Purse Challenge

So I decided the purse challenge would be a good way to shame me into cleaning out my purse. It worked sorta. Turns out there are a lot of things I “need” in there so I at least pulled out the extra papers. Sorry the picture is a little blurry I took it at work on my iphone.

(I didn’t number so I’ll just list)

My pretty Kate Spade purse which I abuse heavily as it wasn’t meant to hold this much stuff.

My iphone isn’t pictured because I was using it to take the picture but it was in there too.

Tiny blue brush with Disney princesses on it my friend got me a couple of Christmases ago

4 various lipglosses

1 Dr. Pepper Chapstick (usually I have 2 at least)

1 hairband which is funny since I hate ponytails

1 super cute bow clip I got on clearance cause the other one was missing

4 random colored/sized clips

6 random colored/sized bobby pins

1 pair of earrings I can only wear for about an hour at a time becasue my ears hate earrings but I break them out for special occasaions

1 beaded sparkly bracelet a co-worker made me

Sunglasses (should be in my car not taking up room in my purse I’ve since put them back)

1 new pair of reading glasses which make me feel about 90 becase I never needed glasses until this year (might be because I just turned 30 though). They are super cute though and my husband thinks I look a little librarianish so I suppose that’s a plus.

2 safety pins those are very handy you should keep them in your purse too

2 sets of headphone/hands free wired thingies for phones. (one for my blackberry I don’t even own anymore and one for the iphone) both of which I wont’ use unless its an emergency because my ears are too sensitive for earbuds

1 Tide Pen this thing is a lifesaver!

2 random dr business cards that I moved into the business card holder

1 Buy one get one half off for Fresh Express in January

1 Safeway gas card thing that gets me discounts not sure

1 expired Office Max card (tossed out now)

1 recipe for homeade Granola from a co-worker

1 Giftcard envelope that was empty because I already used the gift card (tossed!)

Wow! That was a ton of stuff not sure if anyone read the whole list but it’s a little embarassing guess I’m halfway to being a mom already by carrying around my whole life in my purse. I did clean out the papers and re-organized though so my purse looks much nicer. Thanks for the idea!

12/25/08 Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to do a quick post to wish you all a merry Christmas or if that’s not what you celebrate then just well wishes on whatever you do celebrate.

I put on a little party dress for well I suppose a Christmas party I would go to if I didnt’ plan on lounging around the house in my jammies all day hehe. THis is the Camila dress from AnnaH Couture, she is havign a huge 50% off sale righ tnow so I actually got this dress in 2 colors (this and also a light blue). I just adore the poofy skirt and especially the bows on the back. It needed just a little more texture for me though so I put on the undershirt from the Rouge noir outfit from Silent Sparrow. The set itself is huge with lots of re-useable pieces. To match the texutre on the undershirt I put on these tights from Sheer. This store has some really wonderful stockigns and nylons so if you haven’t been you should check it out.

My necklace is from the free Silver Bells set from Violet Voltaire it comes with adorable little bell earring as well. My earrings are freebies from Artilleri, if you are in the group just go with your group tag and grab the box in her shop. She is putting out a new one every day. Well today might be the last day I’m not sure but still they are really cute. I added some other cute accessories.

Hi everyone, I am going to have a non fashion related post today so if that bothers you please feel free to skip over this.

I am actually writing because as some of you may know my rl husband is Toneless Tomba and he owns the store called THiNC. After some serious thinking in real life he has decided to sell his business. With his new job taking up so much of his time and with twins on the way he just doesn’t have the time and energy to keep up with his customers and do the necessary updates to all of his products.

THiNC is still pretty profitable but he has built up the store by having a reputation for being very customer oriented and he doesn’t feel that it’s fair to keep running the company and ignoring the customers while taking the money. I think this might sound a little unorthodox to some of you, but THiNC is a very well known reputable brand in second life and we hope that someone who is passionate about keeping it that way would be interested in carrying on with it.

Ok I have to admit I completely flaked out on the background for my picture I couldn’t figure out what to do so you just got plain color. This week I feel super pregnant. I think it’s consuming all the my thoughts and thats why it’s been so hard to get me into sl and into outfit making.

One thing that did tear me out of my own pregnant thoughts were these super cute thigh high boots from J’s. I saw them on Achariya’s blog and I had to have them. Not only are they shiny and thigh high but they have a bow! The bow takes them from being too fetish wear to being cute everyday wear at least to me…

I wanted to wear a cute flirty skirt with them and this Hannah skirt from Haute Style & Co. was just the perfect length and just cute enough to keep the boots from being too slutty. The skirt and the boots are so much look I went a little more conservative with my tops. This adorable turtle neck is from an outfit from SWA it has puffy sleeves too but this time I thought it looked nicer without them. The vest is from lala foofoo and I have it in the fat pack with all the colors. I always buy her stuff in fat packs because its so reasonable and comes on all the layers. I think if you are lacking any sort of staple in your wardrobe you should head over she probably makes it.

My jewelry is pretty simple as well. I put on these great Locked up Large Hoop earrings from Whimsical Creations they came in a set with a super cute multi-chain necklace with little locks. My necklace is one of the ones based on Wizard of Oz from Violet Voltaire. This one is the Queen of Hearts and I loved how the red set off against the turtleneck. On my wrists I have on gutter glitter bracelets from Violet as well. These are wonderful and scripted to color change. You can change the pearls and the gems. I turned my red and pink because well because I love pink duh …hehe.

I haven’t been able to watch the feeds much so not sure if this new hair from Novocaine has been covered a ton. Probably but oh well I looove it so much I’m wearing it anyway. This hair is called Milla and its the sort of style I wish I could pull off in rl without it taking 12 hours with a blowdryer/straightener. My skin is one of the new Chai Doubleshot skins from Launa Fauna. This makeup is called Doe-2 it is definately my favorite these eyes are just so amazing!
